Act Health Enterprise Bargaining Agreement

The agreement applies to all registered nurses and midwives, nurses and nurses registered in the public service act. This agreement includes significant improvements for pharmacists at the canberra and Calvary public hospitals. The main changes for our members are as follows: the enterprise contract is applicable from April 4, 2019 and has an expiry date of October 31, 2021. The company agreement was approved on 7 June 2019 and has an expiry date of 31 October 2021.The agreement provides for the following salary increases: While there is still much to be done, the new agreement offers the tools to strengthen pharmacy services in Canberra`s public hospitals. Registered agreements are valid until terminated or issued. “The new classification structure now contains the old bonus structure and we believe this will solve the problems related to the acquisition and engagement of talented pharmacists in the ACT healthcare system,” said Dale Beasley, Director of the Professionals Australia Act Branch. If a job has a registered agreement, the bonus does not apply. However, we would like to thank all the delegates and members of Canberra and Cavalry Hospitals who invested a great deal of time and effort to ensure that pharmacists` concerns were heard. Without them, this agreement would not be possible.

With compensation issues covered, it was in the best interest of our members to address ACT Health`s terms. The new agreement recognises the role that working conditions play in recruiting and retaining staff. . . .
