Read Your Space
Interactive Performance (2007)
Presented at Great Northern Way Campus, Vancouver
Concept
Among many aspects of space, color has been drawn my interests. Everything has color and color represents features of everything around us. Since color shown by reflection of our environment, color mirrors our environment and our lives. In this project, I investigate how we read the environment by our body not just eyes. Color information, in this project, include speed, level, etc. because colors are collected from video clips taken by participants and they might be presented as colorful image collage. Final presentation of colors create a collage with various images of their exploration: they can walk, run, and move their arms fast or slow.
